Tony has a decorated baseball career that spans over twenty five years. Tony was a 4 year starter at the University of Maine from 1993-1997. During his time with the Black Bears, Bianchi was a .338 hitter and was one of the team’s leaders in fielding percentage. Baseball America rated his team’s schedule one of the toughest for Division I in the country each of his four years at Maine. Bianchi was also selected for the Geneva Knights NCBL Wood Bat League three summers in a row from 1994-1996.
He graduated with a BS in Secondary Education from Maine and currently holds a MS in Education Administration from St. John Fisher College. Tony was a high school teacher at John Marshall High School from 1997-2000 until he became an Assistant Principal at Marshall. He has extensive coaching experience as he coached varsity baseball, varsity track and was an assistant for varsity football.
During high school (St. Thomas Aquinas), Tony hit over .430 and led his team in homeruns his last two years on the varsity team. He was selected as team captain for three seasons in a row and also a 3-time All-League selection.
