How do I try-out for the Gridiron Academy?

  • The try-out date is Sunday January 8, 2012 (12pm – 3pm)
  • Try-outs will take place at Bishop Kearney HS

What events will I be evaluated on?

  • Timed 40 Dash
  • Bench Press
  • Sit-n-Reach
  • Height/Weight
  • Pro Agility Run
  • Vertical Jump
  • Broad Jump
  • Skill Evaluation

What will I receive after the try-out is over?

  • All participants will receive an NC3A certified evaluation via email
  • All participants will receive a combine shirt for participation in the combine

How will I know if I make the Academy Team?

  • All participants will be contacted prior to the holidays season
  • Placement on teams will begin in mid January

I/We give permission for any medical attention necessary to be administered to my/our child by a licensed Medical Professional in the event of an accident or injury until I/we can be contacted. This release is effective for the 2012 season. I /we will assume responsibility for payment of treatments.

I/We the parent of the above named child, give my approval for his/her participation in any and all activities of the RPA LLC. during the 2012 season.

I/We do further release, indemnify and hold harmless any liability, direct or indirect, from anyone representing the RPA LLC., and/or any of the members, officers, organizers, supervisors, any and all of them. In case of injury to my child, I hereby waive all claims against the organizers.
